Japanese brands are notoriously secretive about their manufacturing process, so it's usually a mystery to even the most established lolitas. In this panel, we'll shed some light on the mystery - from early design concepts, stages of development, never before seen behind the scenes photos and even a sneak peek at upcoming releases. This panel is beginner friendly, so you're sure to learn lots - whether you've got a decades-old wardrobe bursting at the seams or even if you've never touched a headbow in your life.

Once dreaming about one day owning a gothic lolita piece, I now work full time in Tokyo as an International Ambassador for Atelier Pierrot - one of the oldest established gothic lolita brands in Harajuku. As a brand manager, my job involves making things more accessible to international lolitas, whether through new designs, livestreams, plus size releases and more! I have been wearing lolita fashion for more than 18 years, and love helping others to embrace their creative side with the fashion.
