Is cosplay getting toxic?

Is cosplay getting toxic?

More and more cosplay is getting more popular. With the population growing, the positivity around cosplayers and non-cosplayers is shaking. How to deal with that? How to overcome a fear of failure? How to deal with the social media? How to start cosplaying with no skills, no schools, no crafting diplomas, courses? How to delete the thoughts that you are not good enough? How to cosplay when the "real" world makes you forget the hobby that you adore? How to ignore all the body-shaming people endure? How to deal with sexual harassment once you are in a costume? How to know when it is appropriate to take pictures of a cosplayer? I want a non-cosplayer to know what problems cosplayers face while even getting ready to wear their masterpiece.

I started cosplaying in 2013. It is the most wonderful thing in the world, that can make you feel free and be someone you want to be for a while (act, talk and have fun). This hobby, or, maybe, a lifestyle made me learn sewing, prop-crafting, jewellery making, editing and acting at the same time. And, of course, I made lots and lots of friends.
